Fine Frenzy Films is an independent production company developing and producing distinctive narrative films, documentaries, and series for the international marketplace.

Founded by Brazilian-American producer, writer, and director Aline Andrade, Fine Frenzy is drawn to stories with a strong point of view: outsiders finding their place, women breaking the rules written for them, families shaped by secrets and belief, and characters caught between the world they inherited and the life they want to create.

Our work moves across genres—from coming-of-age and magical realism to comedy, documentary, historical drama, and elevated genre—but is connected by a shared ambition: to make emotionally specific stories with the potential to travel.

Artistic integrity and marketability are not opposites.

Fine Frenzy develops projects with both in mind. We believe singular storytelling can also be accessible, entertaining, and strategically positioned for audiences. From the earliest creative development through packaging, production, festivals, and distribution, we approach each project as both a work of art and a film or series that must find its place in the world.

Our productions and collaborations have reached audiences through Prime Video, Apple TV, Tubi, Claro TV, Box Brazil Play, PBS, and ARTE, with work presented at festivals, markets, and industry programs in the United States, Brazil, Canada, France, and the United Kingdom.

Fine Frenzy’s produced work includes the magical-realist short Macumba: A Family Folklore, written and directed by Andrade and released on major streaming platforms in Brazil; the award-winning documentary Áureo & Mirele; the independent family science-fiction feature Unexpected Treasures; and The Radio, an international documentary series exploring the birth of Los Angeles hip-hop culture in the early 1980s.

The company’s growing development slate includes Lucy Is Going to Hell, a 1990s coming-of-age road movie about faith, freedom, music, and a teenage girl escaping a polygamist family; Coming to Jesus, a Florida-set story where addiction, religion, and the surreal collide; The Regent, a historical television drama centered on Princess Isabel and the political forces surrounding the abolition of slavery in Brazil; and other original projects spanning independent film and scripted television.

At the center of Fine Frenzy is Andrade’s multidisciplinary experience across independent filmmaking and major international productions. Her broader career includes producing and creative work for projects connected to Netflix, National Geographic, Hulu, PBS, CNN, Spotify, Facebook Watch, and FIFA+. She is a member of the Producers Guild of America and the Television Academy, and was selected for the Women in Film Producer Fellowship.

Fine Frenzy Films is building a slate for audiences who want stories with personality—films and series that can be culturally specific without feeling small, emotionally intelligent without losing entertainment value, and artistically ambitious without forgetting that stories are made to be seen.
